Drift

In the lab · prototype receiving

A radio with one dial, tuned to the invisible world.

The air is full of voices: pilots, satellites, ships. Drift is a pocket receiver that lets you wander through them. No licence, no manual, no jargon.

what you can hear

Turn the dial until something answers.

Planes talking to towers. Weather satellites singing as they pass. Ships checking in along the coast. All of it is drifting through your walls right now.

Drift catches it with one honest dial. No scanning menus, no settings, no manual. Wander until you find something alive.

the story at three depths

Open it only as far as your curiosity takes you.

That plane overhead? You can hear the pilot talking to the tower, right now. A weather satellite passes over your house six times a day, singing to anyone who listens. Drift lets you eavesdrop on the sky.

Radio waves are light your eyes can't see: thousands of overlapping broadcasts filling every room you've ever been in. Drift tunes across the bands where the human stories live. Aviation, weather satellites, ships, and the strange textures in between.

Everything you hear is an electromagnetic wave that has been travelling since the moment it left an antenna. Through walls, through weather, through you. Drift catches it and folds it back into sound. The receiver inside is our own design, built for wandering rather than scanning. The schematics stay in the lab, but the sky belongs to everyone.
